“Caring Coach” ~ our mobile food pantry and outreach
serves our neighbors in need!
Catholic Charities has a mobile food pantry and outreach service that provides needed food assistance, experts, information, and supplies to our neighbors in need in rural areas of the Florida Panhandle. We have staff on hand to assist people in applying for SNAP (also known as food stamps.) Many of the individuals in these rural communities do not have the resources to come to us for assistance, so we go to them. We could not continue to provide this service without the gifts of support from our donors: Walmart Foundation, MORE Group at the Church of Resurrection, Crestview Rotary Club, CCUSA SNAP Grant, and many more community partners and supporters. We deliver these services remotely using our Caring Coach van, donated by the Sandestin Foundation for Kids. The Caring Coach is currently providing services in Baker, Cantonment, DeFuniak Springs, Miramar Beach, and Freeport. This reoccurring schedule allows us to alleviate the immediate needs of our neighbors. To donate or volunteer please call Catholic Charities at 850-244-2825.
Together we will help families rebuild their lives. Please make a donation today!
